Forum Rules:
The reasons for rules on the track and in the Az Dirt Racing Bench Racing Forum are the same: a safe environment, a level playing field, and the spirit of good sportsmanship. You don’t want Bubba beating you to the line every week because you’re playing fair and he’s running traction control. Yeah, we know it happens, but that doesn’t make it right—and it certainly doesn’t make it fun.

Therefore, collectively the Administrators, Moderators, Referees, Flagmen, or whatever you call us, must lay down a few simple ground rules. We shouldn’t have to (since we’re mostly adults here), but we all know things can get out of hand. When that happens, we get stuck in the middle and, much like refereeing our own kids, it’s not fun! So play nice or get off the playground. If you can’t do that, we’ll be forced to do it for you and none of us here likes to use the black flag.

Here are a few simple rules to live by:
No vulgarity or foul language, obvious or implied. If saying it in front of Mom, Granny or your kids would get you an elbow in the ribs, don’t say it here!
No naughty pics. If you like that kind of stuff, fine, but don’t share it here. Keep it behind the couch where it belongs.
Enough with the bashing! A little rubbin’, sure—that’s racing. However, personal insults, attacks on individuals, companies or groups, false accusations, libel and just plain meanness will not be tolerated.
No advertising. We don’t mind mentions of upcoming races, flea markets, etc., but please don’t try to sell stuff here. Use the free classifieds.
Respect your fellow posters. If you don’t like someone else’s opinion and you’ve said your piece, move on. It’s what that mouse is for.

If you wonder how these rules apply to the post you’re about to publish, refer back to the Original Rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” It’s that simple.

If everyone follows these simple rules then we won’t have to put in a lot of overtime editing and deleting, and we can all take pride in having the best message board in racing.

Thank you for your help, and for being a big part of Az Dirt Racing.
